written to celebrate the day my son passed his test

- Don't fall off.
- You might fall off: dress accordingly
- It's colder than you think
- It's going to rain
- Who's in your personal space?
- Where's your escape route?
- If it rattles or wobbles, it's going to fall off
- If it's wet, shiny or metallic, it's slippery
- Gaps get smaller, Volvos are harder, reps are sillier
- If it's bigger, faster, stupider or inclined to race you, let it go first - you can see what it's doing
- If the pavement is black, white, or shiny, stay off it. - Rick - red 91
- Racing is done at closed circuits! - Ko
- Crashbarriers are your enemy. - Ko
- All moving objects are your enemy. Unless they are moving away from you.
- Do not mix alcohol with driving a motorcycle (or any other vehicle).
- Do not mix alcohol while driving.
- Ignoring rule 16 will cause even trees to cross the street; then rule 15 is applicable.
