TICTAC
Welcome Home Page of Shrewsbury's newest youth theatre group! Photographs The company was formed in April 1999 with the sole intention of performing Godspell. Rehearsing every week from then the show in November, the Company has developed a sense of unity and friendship which is the foundation of the show. The talents of the cast flourished over the months of rehearsal, as was evident in the outstanding performances. The cast of Alison, Caroline, Emma, Graham, Jody, Lisa, Liz, Joanne and Tim, led by their Director, Claire, and Musical Director, Di, electrified audiences in the theatre at Shrewsbury Girls High School. TICTAC is a non-profit-making organisation, with all the support network being offered on a voluntary basis. Indeed, the show would not have been possible without the generous support of many people.
Amongst those, the band of Jamie Walker (synthesizer), George green (guitar) and Jonathan Page (drums) in particular gave generously of their time and provided a professional accompaniment. At George's invitation, the show was revived for a single night at St John's Hednesford, on Saturday 20th February, 2000. Despite the months in between, the different playing area and the simplified temporary lighting, the show was as stunning as ever. The proceeds of the productions, amounting to a thousand pounds, were donated to the Shropshire and Mid-Wales Hospice. PhotographsProduction photographs are now on this site, taken at the dress rehearsal, as well as backstage photos. Last updated 6th March 2000 Richard's Home Page |
